Change of Presidency
During the General Assembly Meeting on 22 October Pierre Laconte (Belgium) handed over the ISOCARP Presidency to Ismael Fernandez Mejía (Mexico).

46th ISOCARP Congress Nairobi, Kenya - Sustainable City/Developing World, 19-23 September 2010
On 21 October 2009 the agreement to host the 46th ISOCARP Congress in Nairobi, Kenya, was signed by the Local Organising Commitee chaired by Mairura Omwenga in the presence of the Kenyan Minister of Lands, Minister of Housing and Minister of Nairobi Metropolitan Development.
