City and regional plans, as part of place-based policies and programs, are developed in organisations that employ most of the world’s planners.

  • Institutional members can nominate a given number of individuals (including staff, members, associates, students, and clients) to become individual members of ISOCARP with the same rights of participation and voting as all other individual members. These will act as representatives and primary points of contact. Institutional representatives must complete the regular individual membership applications.

Fees for individual membership

ISOCARP has a single, individual membership category. We encourage you to join the Society for multiple years at a discount and authorise a
continuing automatic direct debit from their credit card, to be paid on the anniversary of their joining.

  • 1-year Membership: €60 (Recurring annual subscription)

  • 3-years Membership: €155
  • 5-years Membership: €250
  • Life Membership: €850

Fees for institutional membership

  • Platinum Membership: €1500 per year.
    Institutional members may maintain their own page on Planetary (our website), organize a session at the World Planning Congress, receive support for active involvement in the activities and programs of the Society, and pay a reduced entry fee for the Awards of Excellence. Included in the membership fee are ten memberships of the Society and three delegates to the Congress.

  • Gold Membership: €1000 per year.
    Institutional members may maintain their own page on Planetary, receive support for active involvement in the activities and programs of the Society and pay a reduced entry fee for the Awards of Excellence. Included in the membership fee are six memberships of the Society, and two delegates to the Congress.

  • Silver Membership: €500 per year.
    Institutional members may maintain their own page on Planetary, receive support for active involvement in the activities and programs of the Society and pay a reduced entry fee for the Awards of Excellence. Included in the membership fee are two memberships of the Society and one delegate to the Congress.
