Marytė is a Programme Manager at ISOCARP, where she is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of the annual ISOCARP World Planning Congress. She plays a key role in managing complex international workflows, working closely with partners, contributors and committees to ensure high-quality outcomes across all stages of the Congress.
Alongside her Congress work, she is Technical Editor for the Congress Proceedings, ensuring the quality and consistency of ISOCARP’s flagship publication. Prior to joining ISOCARP in 2021, Marytė worked in international organisations delivering social impact projects focused on sustainability and climate action.

Olaf Gerson
ISOCARP Secretariat
Olaf is an architect and urban planner with over 25 years of international experience in spatial development, urban strategy, and project coordination. He has worked across Europe, Asia, and Africa, supporting governments, NGOs, and design teams. At ISOCARP, he supports core operations including member engagement, congress coordination, and project acquisition. He brings a hands-on, structured approach and values collaboration across ISOCARP’s global network.
Membership Officer
Shiva Menon
ISOCARP Secretariat
Shiva is the Membership Officer at ISOCARP. Prior to this he was an intern within the Secretariat, where he supported ISOCARP’s communications and editorial tasks. A graduate of Leiden University he has a masters degree in Crisis and Security Management and a bachelor’s in International Relations. Shiva performs a range of duties at ISOCARP, as membership officer he is committed to strengthening internal processes and supporting the Society’s global activities through collaborative and responsive administrative support.
Administration & Publications Intern
Vi Le
ISOCARP Secretariat
Vi is an Administration and Publications Intern at ISOCARP. A graduate of Leiden University, she completed a BA in International Studies and an MA in Asian Studies. Her academic work centres around migration, governance, and public policy in East Asia. At ISOCARP, Vi’s work ranges from supporting daily administrative operations to curating and editing various publications. She is committed to supporting organisational objectives through high-quality research, structured coordination, and a transnational perspective.
