ISOCARP is excited to endorse the upcoming STUDENT IDEAS COMPETITION by TU Delft on “Confronting Informality” – Preserving Communities and Creating Public Goods in Informal Settlements. This competition is intended for students from all areas of study concerned with the built environment and the development of healthy, fair, inclusive and resilient cities and communities. The competition addresses the creation of public goods and service provision in informal settlements of the Global South, while preserving social networks and livelihoods, while avoiding displacement of citizens who have fought hard for their right to the city. This is an ideas competition and non site-specific. The winners will be awarded a certificate and a prize of 3000 euros.
