Announcing an important contribution to Knowledge for Better Cities

The International Society of City and Regional Planners has been publishing ISOCARP Review since 2004.

We think it is a uniquely high-quality international survey of cutting-edge city and regional planning practice – an indispensable resource for planners, agencies at all levels of goverment, teachers, researchers and consultancies.

The President of ISOCARP, Martin Dubbeling, and the Secretary General, Frank D’hondt – both planning practitioners with very extensive experience in international planning practice – have announced a new program, to make the outstanding articles in sixteen years of ISOCARP Review available to all – easy to access, download, print and share.

The first edition of ISOCARP Review to be offered in this form is ISOCARP Review 12, published in 2016 on the occasion of the 52nd ISOCARP World Planning Congress held in Durban, South Africa focusing on ‘Cities we have Vs cities we need’.
