Programme Manager

Marytė Litvinaitė

ISOCARP Secretariat

Marytė is a Programme Manager at ISOCARP, where she is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of the annual ISOCARP World Planning Congress. She plays a key role in managing complex international workflows, working closely with partners, contributors and committees to ensure high-quality outcomes across all stages of the Congress.

Alongside her Congress work, she is Technical Editor for the Congress Proceedings, ensuring the quality and consistency of ISOCARP’s flagship publication. Prior to joining ISOCARP in 2021, Marytė worked in international organisations delivering social impact projects focused on sustainability and climate action.

Akram supports the smooth functioning of ISOCARP’s Secretariat through his role as Membership & Administration Officer. Nerea is a communications and publications Intern, currently in her fourth year of European Studies in The Hague University. With a strong academic foundation in European matters and a keen interest in international cooperation and policy, she brings a fresh insight and enthusiasm to the team. She currently serves as Congress Director for ISOCARP while also holding the role of Operations Director at Seren Events Limited, where she leads a talented team dedicated to creating innovative and engaging events. Her ability to navigate the complexities of international collaboration has allowed her to work with a wide range of organisations, delivering bespoke experiences tailored to the unique needs of each client.

With over 20 years of experience in the events industry, Nicola has had the privilege of working globally to design and execute high-impact events for international organizations across diverse sectors.

Whether it’s a complex international conference or a specialised workshop, Nicola is committed to providing expert guidance and meticulous attention to detail to deliver seamless, engaging, and meaningful experiences for all attendees. Anushruti brings a wealth of experience in communications, grounded in a strong editorial foundation. She began her career as an editor at Oxford University Press, where she discovered a passion for the strategic side of storytelling — the spark that ignites when the right message reaches the right audience.

This passion led her to transition into full-time communications, first at the international think tank, International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie), and later in the corporate sector at State Street Global Advisors. In both roles, she found purpose in using communications as a tool to create meaningful impact.

Currently at ISOCARP, Anushruti leads the organization’s communications efforts. She plays a key role in shaping and executing ISOCARP’s communications strategy, curating content for social media, managing newsletters, and building a cohesive and compelling digital presence.

Olaf is an architect and urban planner with over 25 years of international experience in spatial development, urban strategy, and project coordination. He has worked across Europe, Asia, and Africa, supporting governments, NGOs, and design teams. At ISOCARP, he supports core operations including member engagement, congress coordination, and project acquisition. He brings a hands-on, structured approach and values collaboration across ISOCARP’s global network.
