City Tour offered to Congress Delegates by the Dalian Municipality

Dalian has abundant tourism resources, consisting of natural landscape of hill, ocean and city as well as the landscape of urban culture and modern history. Participants will visit the following sites: Binhai Road, the historical streets and areas in Dalian (Zhong Shan Square, Nan Shan, North of Shengli Qiao), Square Culture (Xinghai Square, Renmin Square, Gangwan Suqre, etc.).

“Preserve the vigour of the city- Promote the sustainable development of the city” Dalian expects to strengthen its relations with other cities through the Mayors’ Summit and to discuss the urban management experience by means of exhibition and seminars. Famous city planners will be invited to discuss urban sprawl issues and to propose effective methods for controlling the urban sprawl of cities in different types and at developing levels.
