Upon arrival at the workshop, you are kindly asked to register at the reception desk of the Gaia/Lumen building. As you face the entry, the Lumen building is on the right (the Gaia building is on the left). This is the main building where the workshop will be held. Registration opens at 8:30am and you are encouraged to arrive before the workshop commences (at 9:30am).
The local bus stops at the corner of the Droevendaalsesteeg/university campus, the Lumen building is at 100 m walking distance.
Public transportation
- Train: the nearest intercity train station is Ede-Wageningen. There is a direct connection from Schiphol National Airport (or Amsterdam Central Station) to Ede-Wageningen every 15 minutes. http://www.ns.nl/reisplanner-v2/index.shtml
- Bus: departures from the south side of the station bus nr. 88 leaves every 10 minutes for Wageningen centre; the bus stops at the WUR campus:http://9292.nl/en/ede/bushalte-ede-wageningen-zuid#
- Taxi: the hotel can pick you up at the Ede-Wageningen station and bring you to your hotel. Costs: taxi for 8 persons: €30,- or 4 persons: €25,-. When making your bookings please let the hotel know that you want to be picked up at the station.
