The ISOCARP General Meeting held on 28 June 2025 addressed crucial governance matters aimed at strengthening the Society’s foundation and future direction. Over 100 members participated, demonstrating strong engagement across our community. Key decisions included the approval of the 2024-2025 budget and the reconfirmation of Frank D’hondt as Secretary General.
President Elisabeth Belpaire emphasised the importance of further strengthening trust, purpose and transparency. She highlighted ISOCARP’s growing global relevance, increasing youth and diversity among its members, and ongoing preparations for the 2025 World Planning Congress in Riyadh.
