At the first World Forum on Urban Forest held in Mantua, Italy between the 28th of November and 1st of December 2018, the European Nature-Based Solutions Projects (NBS) will launch its Cooperation Manifesto, which aims to guide the adoption of NBS by cities worldwide. During the Forum, ISOCARP will be present as a project partner to Think Nature, a knowledge platform for NBS-driven urban green transformation towards sustainability, climate adaptation, and resilience in several cities across Europe.

The Manifesto will be open for signature to the participants of the Forum and from January 2019 onwards, any individual, city, or organization will have the opportunity to pledge their support online for our global effort to renature cities.

The Nature-Based Solutions Projects are funded by the European Commission Research and Innovation Framework Horizon 2020 and managed by the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.
