Open call for papers and invitation to join the International Conference “Centrality in the Age of Dispersion” organized by the Faculty of Architecture of Wrocław University of Science and Technology at Wrocław, Poland, on 28-29 September

Human settlements have historically revolved around centers, each focusing on specific activities and forming a node in geographical space. However, modern factors such as the network society, global economy, and online services have challenged traditional urban planning paradigms. The International Conference Centrality in the Age of Dispersion, organized in partnership with ISOCARP, aims to address the need for a new way of managing territories and invites experts from different fields to present their research on urban centers and discuss dispersion phenomena.

The Call for Abstracts is now open, and we invite members and partners to submit their work for the review of the conference’s Scientific Committee, in which we are happy to highlight ISOCARP SciCom Chair Dr. Ulrich Graute’ participation. Successful abstracts may be considered for publication in ‘Planning Practice and Research’ or ‘Bulletin of Geography—Socio-Economic Series journals’.
