In October 2018, the city of Bodø, in Norway, hosted the 54th annual Congress of the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP) on ‘Cool Planning: Changing Climate and our Urban Future’.
Now, following-up on this Congress, we are excited to announce the release of the Editorial of a Special issue of Cities by Elsevier on “Planning Resilient Cities and Regions”. This special issue addresses contemporary planning topics on overcoming climate change challenges in cities and contains a number of articles including the one by Prof Peter Newman who agreed to include his congress insights.
