The Institute for Urban Excellence (past ISOCARP Institute) is no longer operating under the name of ISOCARP. This aligns with a resolution adopted by the ISOCARP Member Assembly on 21 December 2024.
As global independent member-led organisation since 1965, ISOCARP remains dedicated to its core mission of developing and strengthening a global network of City and Regional Planners and support planning at all levels through flagship planning services. This includes all ISOCARP activities previously implemented through the Institute. ISOCARP remains a non-profit public benefit organisation (PBO) and is accredited at UN through ECOSOC.
